Gentle Dartmoor Stroll

Enjoy a gentle stroll through woodland and moorland at beautiful Bellever in the heart of Dartmoor. There will be several stops along the way to rest; admire views up to the majestic tors; learn about the lives of Bronze Age and early Medieval people in this area; hear tales of pixies and ancient tracks; and explore the variety of flora and fauna supported by the grazing patterns of the semi-wild Dartmoor Heritage Ponies.

This experience is specifically designed for people living with chronic health conditions, such as ME/CFS, Long Covid, Fibromyalgia, Lyme disease, and/or chronic pain. Please get in touch if you have questions or require further information.

LEVEL: EASY - approximately 4km/2.5 miles mainly on forest gravel tracks and a short section of rough grass path using the circular ‘Miles Without Stiles’ Tramper route built to accommodate all-terrain mobility scooters. There are two for hire for a small donation from Postbridge Visitors Centre if you are/become a member of Countryside Mobility - https://www.dartmoor.gov.uk/enjoy-dartmoor/outdoor-activities/accessible-dartmoor/tramper-hire
