Would you like to connect more deeply with your inner wisdom and the energies of the Earth? They are interconnected and you can experience them by learning the ancient art of dowsing (with rods or pendulums). Divining or dowsing has been used for thousands of years for many different purposes including finding water, oil, archaeological remains, missing people as well energy lines, and testing for allergies. This experience is aimed at beginners and an experienced facilitator will teach you how to dowse for water, archaeology and earth energies. Together we will discover the beauty of the moor and explore the energy, age and possible uses of a recently rediscovered stone circle, cairn and dolmen.
LEVEL: MODERATE - 6km/4 miles on open and hilly moorland using grass and gravel tracks where possible
(Route is dependent on weather conditions and group pace).

Please do not park here at the moor gate but instead 100 metres before in the driveway of 'Scorhill Farmhouse', Gidleigh, TQ13 8HS. Car sharing will be essential please so we can fit into the driveway.
CAR SHARING: This will be essential please as car parking is extremely limited at Scorhill on a weekend. Please reply to info@dartmoorsdaughter.com if you can offer or would like a lift.

Tickets
FEE: £25 per adult. £10 per child for under 16 + booking fee
Optional: Dowsing Rods £10 per pair (bring cash on the day) and if you have your own please bring them!
Group size is limited so pre-booking is essential.
CANCELLATION: The event will go ahead come rain or shine. We do not offer refunds. If you cancel more than 4 weeks before the date of the walk or experience we will send you a credit note to use within 1 year minus a £5 admin fee and the £2 booking fee. We do not transfer tickets so in this instance you can use your credit note to rebook with us.
If you cancel within 4 weeks of the date of a walk or experience we recommend that you try to resell/pass on your ticket yourself. If you resell/pass on please let us know who will be attending in your place.
We have seen a significant number of cancellations over the past few years, and as a very small organisation we have suffered and therefore as a consequence we now have a strict no refund policy - we do hope you understand and will continue to support us.

WHAT TO WEAR/BRING: Sturdy walking boots; warm layers; sunscreen; waterproof jacket and trousers (whatever the forecast); walking poles if you have them; drink/flask and snack. Dowsing rods/pendulum.
DOGS: Sorry, no dogs (it's difficult to juggle dowsing rods and animals!)

FACILITATORS: Sally Cunis is a dowser, writer, artist, and retired counsellor, healer, and nurse. Understanding that our planet is a living, conscious, and aware being, Sally teaches dowsing to beginners on Dartmoor’s Daughter’s walks to sacred and archaeological sites. She has been a member of Devon Dowsers for 30 years. Emma Cunis aka Dartmoor's Daughter creates walks and nature-connection experiences to enhance health, wellbeing, and performance.
