Join Dartmoor’s Daughter, the Pi Society and like-minded singles for a stunning walk along part of the disused Princetown railway. We will pass impressive granite quarries and the left behind remains of corbels intended for old London Bridge before heading down to the Bronze Age ceremonial and settlement complex at Merrivale that includes double stone rows, a tall standing stone, circle, and burial chambers. Our walk will end with a well deserved lunch and drink at the Plume of Feathers in Princetown.
Cost: £15 for Pi Society non-members and £10 for members. Cost of drinks and dinner is not included and should be paid directly to The Plume of Feathers.
Meeting Time/Location: 9.45am for a 10am start at the car park at Visitor Centre at Princetown. Carsharing is recommended.
