Walk a beautiful circular route through the Teign Gorge, following in the footsteps of fishermen, hunters, mill workers, artists, and modern hikers. On a clear day, there are stunning views across to the open moor from the high path. And on the low path we pass moss-covered boulders, trees dripping in lichens and ferns, whortleberries, otter, salmon, trout, stories of pixy haunts, and the famous Teign Logan stone. Bring your swimwear to enjoy the Wilder Riverside Wood Fired Outdoor Sauna followed by a dip in the copper-gold coloured River Teign. (You could even book a table for lunch or a Devonshire Cream Tea at Mill End Hotel afterwards for a treat-filled day!)
LEVEL: MODERATE - Approximately 7.5km / 5 miles through hilly woodland that has some short, steep sections; rough paths with rocks and tree roots in places; plus two short sets of steps.
