Join Dartmoor guide and author Emma Cunis in conversation with renowned folklorist and award-winning writer Terri Windling as they journey into the origins of Dartmoor’s myths and legends. Together they’ll explore how stories grow from the land itself, and the inspirations behind Emma’s recent book Dartmoor Myths & Legends: Exploring Origins & Inspirations.
The evening also features artist Gina Hemery, illustrator of the book, whose evocative artwork brings Dartmoor’s landscapes and legends vividly to life.
Expect an inspiring blend of myth, art, and conversation — with readings, discussion, and time for audience questions. Copies of the book, along with prints and cards of Gina’s original illustrations, will be available afterwards, with the opportunity for personal signings from both author and artist.
