Dartmoor Myths & Legends Talk with Afternoon Tea (organised by Gidleigh Park)

Inside every seemingly strange story of witches, black dogs, and ghostly happenings there is often a small kernel of truth. What are the real stories behind the Devil at Widecombe church, Hairy Hands, Faithless Wives of Chagford, Hound of the Baskervilles, Bowermans Nose, Nine Maidens, Lady Howard and her ghostly coach of bones, Jay's grave and more.... Join local guide and expert, Emma Cunis of Dartmoor's Daughter for a journey through some of the extraordinary myths and legends across Dartmoor as we try to trace the origins or inspirations behind the mystery and magic. Later, savour a full afternoon tea in the cosy drawing room.
