Dartmoor Ponies Walk with DPTC - DATE TBC

Join Dartmoor's Daughter and Natalie Torr from the Dartmoor Pony Training Centre (DPTC) to walk with ponies that lived wild as foals on the moor and are now living happily alongside humans.

We will teach you how to connect with and lead your pony using natural horsemanship and their 'language.' This creates a relationship based on trust and cooperation rather than dominance. You will be paired with a pony that suits your ability with no experience is necessary. Often working with ponies in this way can be really enlightening and they offer us learning opportunities to become more grounded, clear and present. On the walk it's possible we will meet and interact with wild pony herds on the moor.

50% of funds raised through this event will go to DPTC. The DPTC is a community interest company (CIC) set up initially to re-home unwanted Dartmoor hill ponies and to teach people to train them using ethical training techniques. More infomation on their great work can be found here https://www.facebook.com/DPTCponies/ And if you wish to donate directly, please click on paypal here http://www.dptc.org.uk/
